Hello, my name is Melvyn Heath and I am an fully qualified instructor living in Aghadowey. I have been driving both
professionally and socially for nearly forty years and I enjoy passing on the skills I have studied and practised. If you

I would like
to pass on the fun and happiness that freedom of the road has brought me. I am trained in the latest teaching techniques recommended
by the DVA and other agencies and I use those skills to teach you 'Safe Driving for Life', passing on the best skills and an
outlook that you will use throughout your driving life. I break down the skills for driving and teach defensive driving techniques
so you will quickly learn why and what to do and feel confident driving on today's busy roads.
I take people of
any age, at any stage of their driving training, for lessons. However nervous you may be, you can be assured that I will treat
you with the highest professional standards and help you enjoy your learning to drive experience.
I strongly advise
gaining driving experience wherever possible and encourage practising the skills I teach away from the car. If you are the
parent of a learner driver and want to help by accompanying them, I can offer you advice on the current DVA standards that your son, daughter, partner or friend is being taught to drive to and how to help them gain the maximum benefit
from the experience you offer, whether they are a passenger or driving. If you are a learner who wants their parents or friends
to take them out, I will explain the legalities, safety and conduct of being accompanied as well as what you should aim to
gain from the sessions.
If you want to brush up on your skills because you have been asked to accompany someone, or
simply wish to revisit some aspect of your training, I can assess and show you how to improve any skills, confidence and increase
experience in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment.
